Murder/Arson suspect Jacob Eveland in custody

The suspect in the murder/arson investigation on Hicklin Road in Elma has been taken into custody.
The Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Office tells KXRO that Seattle Police located the stolen 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pickup that was believed to have been taken at the same time as the death. It was first reported that Eveland may have been driving the truck south to Oregon. The Silverado was found unoccupied, but Eveland was seen getting in and Seattle PD arrested the suspect and impounded the truck.
Seattle Police and Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Detectives interviewed Eveland and tell KXRO that he admitted his involvement.
Eveland will be transported back to Grays Harbor County where he will be booked for Murder and Arson.
