High Surf Advisory for Grays Harbor

A High Surf Advisory is in effect for Grays Harbor.

The National Weather Service has issued the High Surf Advisory for our coast that will last till 4:00 p.m. Friday.  

They say that swells building to 20-22 feet are expected.  

Large waves could run farther up the beaches, possibly carrying debris like logs.

The waves could also splash over levees and other structures, and beach erosion is possible.
