WSDOT opens both lanes near Porter

Drivers who use US Highway 12 will have a welcome sight.

The Washington Department of Transportation announced Monday that the slide area near Porter was cleared.

Motorists driving on US 12 between Elma and Oakville at milepost 27.2 near Porter Creek had been dealing with reduced speeds and a single lane of alternating traffic due to the late January slide.
