Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission meeting today and tomorrow for multiple topics
Olympia, WA – The Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission will have a public hearing on guide logbook requirements, hear an update on hatchery reform, and consider a decision regarding 2020 legislative proposals and budget requests.
The commission, a citizen panel appointed by the governor to set policy for the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW), will meet Aug. 2-3 at the Natural Resources Building, 1111 Washington Street SE in Olympia.
The meeting will begin at 8 a.m. on both days.
Department staff will present options regarding the upcoming 2020 Legislative Session.
The commission will take public comment following the legislative discussion, and may make a decision.
