UNEMPLOYMENT UP SLIGHTLY IN GRAYS HARBOR COUNTY LAST MONTH

The Employment Security Department has released the county-by-county unemployent figures for November and in Grays Harbor county the rate is up one tenth of a point to 12.8% – again, the highest rate in the state.

Lewis County was second at 12.2% and Ferry County is at 12%.

The statewide unemployment rate for November was 8.7%, nearly a half-percent lower than October.
