UNEMPLOYMENT UP IN GRAYS HARBOR

 

The unemployment rate in the Twin Harbors continues to sit in double digits. The preliminary numbers for May from the Employment Security Department show the Grays Harbor rate to be 13.2 percent, up from 12.8 percent in April. In Pacific County, the rate actually dropped a little, down from an April total of 12.7 percent to 11.9 percent. June numbers will be released in late July.
