A two car accident sent two to the hospital.

The Washington State Patrol says a 54 year old Aberdeen man was heading north on Highway 105 two miles south of Westport at 3:45pm Monday afternoon in a 1995 Buick Park Avenue when he attempted to pass a car on the left.

The State Patrol says he was trying to pass a 92 year old Grayland woman in a 2001 Buick LeSabre who stopped and was signaling a right turn but went left instead.

They say the Aberdeen man crashed into the woman and was sent to the hospital for his injuries.

The woman was also sent to the hospital as a precaution.

The State Patrol says the cause of the accident was an improper pass in an intersection by the Aberdeen driver. The woman was cited for an improper signal and both drivers were charged with not having insurance.
