Two arrested and one at large after D&R Theater burglarized

Aberdeen, WA – Two have been arrested and one remains at large after the D&R Theater was burglarized.

The Aberdeen Police Department tells KXRO that on Monday morning just after 10:00 a.m., officers were dispatched to a report of a burglary that occurred at the D & R Theater.

They say that employees arrived and found glass was removed from a door sometime over the weekend and it appeared some items were missing.

Police say that officers started to check the building to ensure no one was inside and found a woman who locked herself in the office area of the theater.

They say officers had to force open the door and the suspect was located hiding in one of the offices.

The woman, a 32 year old Aberdeen transient, was arrested for burglary in the second degree.

Employees were able to view surveillance footage and provide descriptions of additional suspects.

Officers recognized another woman in the video and had seen her earlier in the morning.

Police say the second suspect, a 49 year old Aberdeen transient, was found and arrested for possession of stolen property and had items stolen from the theater in her possession.

A third suspect, wearing a black hoodie, red brimmed hat, camouflage shorts, and teal and white shoes, was seen on the video entering and leaving the theater as well.

The Aberdeen Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the third suspect.
