TIMOTHY DAVIS MEMORIALIZED IN DOWNTOWN ABERDEEN

This morning Aberdeen Mayor Bill Simpson and past VFW Post Commander Jim Daly added the name of SSgt Timothy P. Davis to the Veterans Memorial at City Hall.

 

 

 

Davis, who grew up in Montesano, was killed on February 20, 2009  in the Oruzgan province of Afghanistan as the result of injuries received from an improvised explosive device.

 

Davis was posthumously awarded a Bronze Star for valor and a Purple Heart.
