Three car accident in Westport sends one to hospital

Westport, WA – A three car accident in Westport sent one to the hospital yesterday.

The Washington State Patrol tells KXRO that just before 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning a 17 year old East Helena driver was heading south on SR 105 near Forrest Street in a 2018 Honda Accord.

They say the 17 year old tried to make a left turn, failed to yield, and collided with a 1997 Toyota Camry that was heading north.

That collision forced the Camry into a 2016 Acura MDX that was heading south behind the 17 year old.

According to the State Patrol, the 57 year old man from Steilacoom, who was driving the Camry, was transported to Grays Harbor Community Hospital for his injuries.

There were no other injuries reported.

The State Patrol says the 17 year old was charged with Failure to Yield and Driving With License Suspended.
