SIMPSON EXTENDS LEAD OVER FRITTS, MILLS HAS 1 VOTE LEAD

The Grays Harbor Auditor has released updated ballot counts and Aberdeen Mayor Bill Simpson has extended his lead over challenger Paul Fritts to 188 votes.

On Election Night, Simpson had a 141 vote lead.

In the Aberdeen Ward 6 race Jerry Mills is holding on to a single vote lead over Denny Lawrence.

This race was already close as on Election Night Mills had a three-vote margin of victory.

The auditor’s office will release its next ballot count on November 28 at 3PM.
