School bus involved in Taholah collision

A school bus full of children in Taholah was involved in an accident on Monday that sent a man to the hospital.

Around 4:30 pm on Monday , a 27 year old Taholah man was riding a 1980 Honda motorcycle on Ocean View Drive, just outside of Taholah. When the man pulled up alongside the shoulder of the road to a stop sign, a school bus with 15 children on board pulled up into the lane next to him. The motorcycle lost control at the intersection, striking the bus.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the rider was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center.

No children were injured.
