Rollover accident in Central Park

Defective brakes caused an Oakville man to roll his truck on Highway 12.

Yesterday afternoon, a 19 year old Oakville man was driving in Central Park. As he approached Solki Rd, traffic in front of him began to slow down. When he tried to hit his breaks, he was not able to stop. He swerved to the right, striking a curb at 7-11 and rolling his truck over. When he landed upright, he was sitting in between a semi hauling a gas tanker.

The Washington State Patrol says that defective brakes are the cause, but the accident is still under investigation.

There were no injuries in the accident.
