The City of Raymond has provided an updated timeline for their Jackson Street project to overlay the street.

In a post, the city says that construction is now set to begin the last week of August and finish within 30 working days.

The work will be done in the Riverview neighborhood, impacting Jackson, Fir, Harrison, Bradford, and Cleveland streets.

“All regularly parked vehicles, boats, travel trailers, etc. MUST be cleared from the sides of the City streets and will need to be removed before the project begins.”

The work to do the overlay is being funded through a Washington State grant.

The city advises using use caution when in the area during the work.
