Preparedness event aimed at the hearing impaired tonight at AHS

Tonight in the Aberdeen High School Commons is a disaster preparedness event for those on Grays Harbor who might need more than just the AHAB Siren.

The American Sign Language students from Aberdeen High School are working with Grays Harbor County Emergency Management to sponsor a free preparedness event aimed at the hearing impaired and disabled, Senior Citizens and the entire Spanish speaking community.

The event will be held on tonight from 4-8pm in the Aberdeen High School Commons.

There will be Spanish speaking as well as American Sign Language interpreters to assist everyone who attends.

All Hazard Weather Radios and preparedness information will be available to all attendees.

The Washington State Emergency Management Division, The American Red Cross, Grays Harbor County Emergency Management, as well as the American Sign Language classes at AHS are sponsoring this event.
