Police seeking information on shooting

Police are looking for information after responding to reports of shots being fired.

The Aberdeen Police Department tells KXRO that at about 1:45am Tuesday, officers were sent to 218 N. E Street for multiple gunshots heard coming from apartment 1 or 2 at that location.

They say multiple officers responded as well as officers from the Hoquiam Police Department, Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Office and the Washington State Patrol.

Aberdeen Police say officers searched the apartment and found bullet holes in the building and casings on the ground.

A witness told police that the occupants of the apartment ran from it right after the shots were fired.

According to police none of the occupants of the apartment or suspects have been identified.

The Aberdeen Police Investigations Section is seeking any information to assist in identifying the occupants of the apartment or the suspects.  Please contact the investigations section with any information.
