Photos released of Elma bank robbery suspect

The Anchor Bank of Elma was robbed today. Grays Harbor County Sheriff Rick Scott told KXRO that they received a call at 3:13 this afternoon and reported that a white male entered the bank at that time and proceeded to rob it.

Sheriff Scott says no weapon was shown. The suspect demanded money and subsequently fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as being 5-10 to 6-0 tall, slender build, with a light colored soul patch however fairly clean shaved.  The suspect was wearing a dark colored baseball cap, a light colored Carhartt type of jacket, light colored blue jeans and a dark colored pair of shoes.

Aberdeen PD’s K-9 unit was called to assist with the search, but they were not successful.

It is believed that the suspect fled in a vehicle, possibly a light colored or beige sedan.

Surveillance video was obtained and a still picture of the suspect is below.

The Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Department is conducting the investigation with the Elma Police Department.   Montesano Police, Hoquiam Police, and Washington State Patrol also assist with the investigation.
