Pacific County man shoots at his roommates

Pacific County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a man after he shot at 2 roommates.

On Tuesday, Deputies responded to the 300 block of Knappton Road in Naselle after a man fired a gun at the home. The victims fled the scene and told deputies they had been arguing with their roommate. The man made threats to harm both victims and to shoot the police if they came to the house.

Deputies responded and evacuated the neighborhood, believing the suspect was still inside the home. The Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office, Washington State Patrol and other local police agencies responded to assist.

The suspect was not found inside the home. Early this morning, Sheriff Scott Johnson arrested the suspect, not to far from the address where he surrendered without incident.

The weapons used were recovered and the 36 year old was transported to the Pacific County Jail and booked on two counts of attempted Murder and 4 counts of Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

As everyone involved live in the same home, the case will be considered a violation of the Domestic Violence Act.

The investigation is ongoing, and further charges may be filed.
