Outage hits over 1500 yesterday

Over 400 people were without power for over 14 hours yesterday.

The Grays Harbor PUD told KXRO at 8:00 yesterday morning that, 1586 customers were without power in the Moclips area due to an electrical failure.

By 10:50 yesterday morning PUD crews had restored power to over 1000 customers in the area.

However, roughly 460 customers from Moclips north to Taholah remained without power till just before 10:45 last night as PUD crews replaced a pole which burned during the electrical failure.
