Ocean Shores PD partners with CrimeReports

Ocean Shore residents can see what crime is happening around them at any time.

The Ocean Shore Police Department announced to KXRO that they have joined other local police forces and partnered with CrimeReports.com to give residents an opportunity to get information about the activity in their area online or from their phones.

CrimeReports can be accessed via the internet at: www.crimereports.com or on a phone app available to both IOS and android platforms.

While CrimeReports will show all reported crimes, the Ocean Shores Police remind residents that the listings are a “generalized insight into police activity in Ocean Shores. The details will not reflect if a report is unfounded or not as reported nor will it include specific information regarding the content of the report.”

The website will update each night around 7pm with the calls for the day, showing traffic stops, thefts, burglaries, and other crimes reported in the area along with a brief description of the report.
