Montesano, WA – A meeting in Montesano will discuss sturgeon regulations in Washington.
The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) has scheduled an additional public meeting in Montesano to discuss possible changes to sturgeon regulations, including a possible night closure on the Chehalis.
The first meeting in a series was held in The Dalles, Oregon on May 22.

The department will use feedback from the public to inform its final management recommendations.
Fish managers expect to brief the Washington Fish and Wildlife Commission in October on the resulting proposed regulations.
