More winter weather on the way for Grays Harbor

More winter weather is on the way for Grays Harbor.

Grays Harbor Emergency Management tells KXRO that a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the county and is in effect until 4:00 p.m. this afternoon.  

They say the National Weather Service expects the heaviest snowfall of about 3 inches will occur on higher terrain and away from the immediate coastline.

There is also a Winter Storm Warning that has been issued in the Olympic Mountain area for Grays Harbor effective till 6:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.  

The weather service says 1-2 feet of snow accumulation is expected in that area.

Grays Harbor County Emergency Management says they are monitoring the situation and will update their information if there are any changes.
