Marijuana production approved at Satsop Business Park

The Port of Grays Harbor commissioners on Tuesday approved a lease at the Satsop Business Park for a new marijuana production facility.

A 5 year lease was approved for Fuller Hill Development Co., named after the hill that the Satsop Business Park sits upon, to develop the 50,000 sq ft Enterprise Warehouse at the park.

The facility is expected to be operational in early 2017 and will employ 60-70 full time employees.

Gerald Derevyanny with parent company Northwest Cannabis Solutions Inc. told KXRO that their other Washington production facility, which is a similar size, produced approximately 1,133 lbs of marijuana in September.

Commission President Jack Thompson said, “The Satsop Business Park is a natural fit for this emerging industry with its unique location and robust infrastructure.”

Fuller Hill Development will begin making improvements to the space immedieatly, including power upgrades and security sytems. They estimate a total of around $6.5 million in improvements.

“Our decision to build out a facility at the Park was an easy one, and we are hopeful that there will be more in the future,” said Arkadi Gontmakher, President of Global Real Estate Properties.

Global Real Estate Properties, Northwest Cannabis Solutions, and Fuller Hill Development Co. all share common ownership.
