Man sent to Harborview and charged with a DUI after accident

Oakville, WA – A man was sent to Harborview and charged with a DUI after an accident on Saturday.
The Washington State Patrol tells KXRO that just before midnight on Saturday a 22 year old Olympia man was heading west on Highway 12 near Park St. in Oakville in a 1991 Toyota Corolla.
The State Patrol says the man crossed the center line and hit a 2008 Dodge Ram that was heading east.
The driver of the Dodge and his passengers were not injured.
The Olympia man, who was not wearing his seat belt, was airlifted to Harbor Medical Center in Seattle for his injuries.
Both vehicles received reportable damage and were towed from the scene.
The State Patrol says the Olympia man was charged with a DUI.
