A log truck lost its load and blocked Highway 12 yesterday.

The Washington State Patrol tells KXRO that a 52 year old Port Angeles man driving a Peterbuilt log truck was headed south on Devonshire Road in Montesano just after 2:00pm in the afternoon yesterday.

The State Patrol says that as the truck attempted to merge onto Highway 12 the trailer tipped and a load of logs was spilled.

The WSDOT says eastbound Highway 12 was blocked for about an hour.

There were no injuries reported and the log truck was able to drive from the scene.
