Larson declares state of emergency due to Aberdeen Museum fire

Aberdeen Mayor Erik Larson declared a state of emergency on June 11th in order to start recovery work due to the fire at the Aberdeen Museum.

Larson read his proclamation declaring the emergency at last night’s Aberdeen City Council Meeting.

Larson also explained why this was a necessary act.

The council also passed a resolution confirming the state of emergency unanimously.
