Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain coming home

Lady Washington, the official ship of Washington State, and Hawaiian Chieftain return to Grays Harbor in June and July for nearly a month of public activities and routine maintenance.

The ships are scheduled to arrive at their home port of Seaport Landing in Aberdeen on June 8.

Lady Washington has scheduled thank-you events for long-time supporters, as well as public sails, tours, and an appearance in Westport.

Here’s Lady Washington’s public schedule:

Aberdeen (Seaport Landing)

6/9-10: Walk-on tours, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., $3 donation.

6/11: Membership Appreciation Sail and Dinner, 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

6/12: Walk-on tours, noon to 3 p.m., $3 donation.

6/12: Adventure Sail, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., $39-$47.

6/18-19: Walk-on tours, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., $3 donation.

6/18-19: Adventure Sail, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., $39-$47.

6/21: Walk-on tours, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., $3 donation.

Westport (Rusty Scupper Pirate Daze)

6/24: Walk-on tours, noon to 5 p.m., $3 donation.

6/24: Evening Sail, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., $45.

6/25-26: Walk-on tours, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., $3 donation.

6/25-26: Adventure Sail, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., $39-$47.

6/25: Evening Sail, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., $45.

Aberdeen (Seaport Landing)

6/29-7/1: Walk-on tours, noon to 5 p.m., $3 donation.

7/2: Walk-on tours, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., $3 donation.

7/2: Adventure Sail, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., $39-$47.

7/3: Walk-on tours, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., $3 donation.

7/4: SPLASH Fireworks Sail, 9 p.m. to midnight, $75.

New this year is a 15 percent per ticket discount on Adventure Sails.

The discount is applied to purchases of four or more tickets online only.

The discount is not available on phone orders or walk-up purchases. To buy tickets, visit www.historicalseaport.org or call 800-200-5239. A ticket is not required for walk-on tours.

On June 11, Hawaiian Chieftain will go into an extended maintenance period. She is scheduled to open for tours over the Independence Day weekend and during the July 4 SPLASH festival.
