JUDGE CONROY RESPONDS TO LAWSUIT

An Aberdeen Municipal Court judge has asked that a lawsuit be dismissed that accuses him of workplace hostility, sexual harassment and stalking.

The Daily World reports the attorney for Judge Paul Conroy filed the response which defended the judge’s conduct and challenged the basis of the claim made by former court administrator Aminta Hill.

She has filed a separate two million dollar claim against the City of Aberdeen, accusing officials of failing to provide an appropriate work environment.

Conroy had acknowledged he had approached Hill last fall about a romantic relationship but insists there wasn’t any wrongdoing.
