HOUSE VOTE ON SAME SEX MARRIAGE LIVE STREAM

A bill to legalize same-sex marriage in Washington will go up for a vote on the state House floor today, setting the stage for final passage.

Debate on the Marriage Equality Act, Senate Bill 6239, is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.

TVW has plans to stream the debate and vote live on their website.

The full Senate passed the measure on a 28-21 vote last Wednesday. Once passed by the House, the bill goes to Gov. Chris Gregoire for her signature. Gregoire announced previously that she supports the measure.
