Hoquiam Fire Department testing for Paramedics & EMTs

The City of Hoquiam is now accepting applications for new members of the Hoquiam Fire Department. They are testing for qualified Firefighter / Paramedics and Firefighter / EMTs.

Paramedic applicants must possess, or be able to obtain, a Washington State Paramedic certification within 90 days of employment, have a NFPA (IFSAC) Firefighter I certification or equivalent and a current CPAT card taken within the past 6 months.

EMT applicants must possess a Washington State EMT certification, have a NFPA (IFSAC) Firefighter I certification or equivalent and a current CPAT card taken within the past 6 months.

The ideal candidates will be a positive team player committed to public service.

Alternatively, copies can be picked up at the Hoquiam City Hall Finance Department located at 609 8th street.

There is a $25.00 non-refundable application fee.

Applications with a resume will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. October 21st at the Hoquiam City Hall Finance Department, 609 8th Street, Hoquiam, WA 98550 either by mail or in person. A future date for testing will be announced to qualified applicants.
