The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for the North & Central Coasts of Washington until 8pm tonight.

Coastal areas can expect wind gusts to 55 mph this morning into the early afternoon.

Wind gusts could hit 35mph in some inland regions.

Grays Harbor County Emergency Management Deputy Director Chuck Wallace reminds us to be prepared for possible power outages due to broken tree limbs and DO NOT go near downed trees or power lines!

Wallace also says to only use portable generators outdoors and far from open windows and vents and never use a generator indoors, in garages or carports.

Also never use a gas or charcoal grill, hibachi, or portable propane heater to cook indoors or heat your home.
