High Wind Warning Issued

The National Weather Service in Seattle has upgraded the High Wind Watch to a High Wind Warning for Grays Harbor, in effect from 6pm tonight until 4am Wednesday morning.

Winds will increase this afternoon and peak between 10pm tonight and 2am Wednesday with sustained winds of 30-40 mph, gusting to 60 mph.

Rain will be heavy at times especially during the high wind period.

A High Wind Warning means that a Hazardous Wind Event is Imminent or occurring.

Be alert for possible power outages due to downed trees, branches and power lines. DO NOT venture near downed trees or power lines. DO NOT use portable generators indoors or near open windows or doors.
