High Wind Warning For Tonight

The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Warning for Tuesday night into Wednesday afternoon. Expected winds are 30-40 mph sustained with possible gusts to 60 mph. The peak time period for high wind gusts is predicted to be just after midnight into Wednesday morning.

Many areas of Grays Harbor County, including the coast, may see passing snow flurries before 10am today, then rain, and then rain/flurries after 4pm this afternoon. Snow levels will be changing from 200-800 feet throughout the day.

Use caution on the roadways. During these transitional weather events, roads will be slick with a coating of snow or black ice.

Grays Harbor County Emergency Management is asking citizens to please take necessary precautions around downed trees and power lines. Do NOT use portable generators indoors or near windows and doors. Carbon Monoxide is deadly. If family members complain of feeling ill, with headache or nausea, dizziness, or lethargy, get out of the house and call 911 from outside.
