High Wind Advisory, Flood Warning, and Landslide Possibility in effect

The National Weather Service has issued a High Wind Advisory indicating windy conditions until 10am in Grays Harbor.

Sustained winds of 20-35mph with gusts to 50mph could occur along the coast. Grays Harbor County Emergency Management is alerting all residents to prepare for possible power outages due to downed trees and power lines. Outages have been reported throughout the county.

They have also issued a Flood Warning for the Chehalis River. The Chehalis River is expected to reach flood stage of 21 feet and crest at 10am Wednesday morning at 21.31 feet and then recede below flood stage on Thursday. Flooding is expected to be very minor. No other rivers are expected to flood during this event.

Due to the heavy rain this past week the Landslide possibility has risen to a moderate level. Landslides could occur at any time over the next few days.
