The Heron Street Bridge will be closing over the next 4 days.

Washington State Department of transportation and bridge preservation engineers and maintenance crews will be intermittently closing the Aberdeen bridge during daytime hours starting today and running through Thursday, July 11.

The closures will close the bridge to vehicle traffic for routine inspections of the bridge’s mechanical and electrical components.

Between 7:30am and 4pm, drivers could see up to four closures per day, each lasting up to 15 minutes at a time.
WSDOT says that they conduct regularly scheduled inspections on all state bridges and structures.

The work may be delayed depending on weather conditions, the inspection could be rescheduled.
