HEAVY RAINS LEAD TO HARBOR FLOOD WATCH

The National Weather Service says a series of Pacific storms will bring rain to most of Washington and snow in the high mountains as temperatures remain above normal.  A flood watch is in effect for most of Western Washington through the weekend, but forecasters expect flooding will be minor.  At this time, the Chehalis River is forecast to approach flood stage at Porter sometime Saturday morning to afternoon. Flood Stage is 21 feet and the river is forecast to reach 20.95 feet. Grays Harbor County Emergency Management will continue to monitor all of the area rivers throughout the weekend. Other than the Chehalis River, no other rivers are predicted to reach flood stage.
