GRAYS HARBOR & PACIFIC COUNTY UNEMPLOYMENT RISES IN OCTOBER

The Employment Security Department has released the county-by-county unemployment data for October and the rate in Grays Harbor is up .5% from September to 12.7%

And once again, that is the highest rate of any county in the state.

The October 2010 rate in the Harbor was 11.7%.

Ferry County was second at 12.4% and Lewis County was third at 12.1%.

In Pacific County, unemployment was up .4% to 11%.  In October 2010 the rate was 11.3%.
