GRAYS HARBOR PFD ON SONNTAG’S “NICE” LIST

State Auditor Brian Sonntag has given the Grays Harbor Public Facilities District a passing grade on its financial statements and controls but expressed concern over a contingent loan agreement between the District and the City of Ocean Shores.

Sonntag’s office cited its recent reports that say Ocean Shores financial condition is declining and that may affect the city’s ability to repay loans to the PFD.

The audits were done back in October.
