Grays Harbor Commissioners support local mills

The Grays Harbor County Commissioners authorized over $116,000 to help two road projects, both to assist mills.

The Commissioners utilized the monies from the #310 fund, set aside to help preserve business, to provide the local match for two road projects that support mills. Although the money is going towards roads, Commissioner Frank Gordon says it is to help preserve jobs.

The funding is helping Elma and Aberdeen for the projects which support the Sierra Pacific and the Murphy mills.
