Today is Election Day and one of the most watched local races is that between incumbent Aberdeen mayor Bill Simpson and challenger Paul Fritts.

The Grays Harbor County Auditor’s office reminds voters to be sure and get your ballots in the mail today or drop it off at one of the six drop boxes throughout the county by 8pm.

Boxes are in Montesano at the County Administration Building, the YMCA in Hoquiam, Ocean Shores Convention Center, the VFW in McCleary plus locations in Westport (506 N. Montesano St.) and Oakville (the Methodist Church on E. Harris).

If you have not received a ballot, you need to go to the county auditor’s office in Montesano to fill out a provisional ballot. That ALSO needs to be done by 8pm today.
