FISHING BOAT RUNS AGROUND IN OCEAN SHORES

A 50 foot long fishing boat with three people onboard ran aground Wednesday afternoon in Ocean Shores.

Sergeant Don Grossi says the commercial vessel ran aground on the beach between the Ocean Lake Way and Taurus Beach Approach.

The captain says they were attempting to return to Westport when the fog became extremely thick.  The vessel was attempting to follow another boat but lost sight of it.

No one was injured.
