The Federal Bureau of Investigations has confirmed to KXRO that at approximately 2:45 this afternoon, a “warranted search” was performed at a business in the 100 block of E. Wishkah St. in Downtown Aberdeen.

There were no arrests made in connection with the investigation.

The Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Office was on scene to assist the FBI.

As it is an active case, no details as to the warrant were provided at this time and some information is being withheld out of respect for the investigation.

The FBI did confirm to KXRO that they can reassure listeners that there is “no information to suggest a public safety threat” such as terrorism or violent criminal activity.

The scene has been cleared and there is no active danger to residents or businesses.

We expect further information as the investigation develops.
