Eveland considered armed and dangerous

The Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Office has updated the search for Jacob Loyd Eveland from a person of interest to probable cause for murder and arson 1st degree.

They say Eveland may be in possession of a pistol and an edged weapon and that he is a known drug user.

The Sheriff’s Office says to consider him armed and dangerous.

He is listed as being 6’01, 220 lbs., with blue eyes, and brown hair.

The truck that he is said to be in possession of is a stolen gold 2005 Chevrolet Silverado with a Washington license plate B35387U.

It has matching canopy with a NRA sticker in rear canopy window and it has running lights on top of cab and aftermarket chrome wheels.

The Sheriff’s Office says the pickup is listed as stolen from a Thurston County Sheriff’s Office case.

They say when the vehicle was stolen it contained a .22 caliber pistol.

The Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Office says it has probable cause to arrest Eveland for the murder and arson that occurred in Elma on Tuesday night.

They say it appears the victim was assaulted with an edged weapon and a firearm.

The weapons have not been recovered.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Eveland could be headed to Central Oregon.

If the vehicle or suspect are located please contact Det. Sgt. Brad Johansson through dispatch at (360) 533-8765.

Do not question Eveland in regards to the murder or arson investigation.

A warrant has been requested.
