Elma rest area to close for maintenance

The Elma Rest Area is going to close for maintenance.

The Washington State Department of Transportation says the Elma Safety Rest Area on eastbound State Route 8 will temporarily close from 8 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, to 11:59 p.m. Thursday, May 19.

The closure will allow crews to perform maintenance.
