Denny Lawrence is an Aberdeen City Councilman Again

The Aberdeen City Council appointed their newest member last night, filling the void left on the council by Frank Gordon who left the board to become a County Commissioner.

The Aberdeen City Council voted in former city councilman, and former council president, Denny Lawrence to the vacant seat from ward 6. Lawrence spoke to the council before the vote took place and stated his experience as a reason for the seat.

The vote for Lawrence was unanimous and he was sworn in on the spot, he has run for this seat twice since he was last on the council and had kept his name plate for the council which he was able to place back in front of him. Councilwoman Kathi Hoder was also re-elected as the council president.
