DAY JAIL HALFWAY THERE

The collaboration project between Hoquiam and Aberdeen took another step last night as the day jail agreement was signed off on by the Hoquiam City Council and Mayor Jack Durney. This leaves only one last step before the project begins.

Aberdeen Mayor Bill Simpson also has to sign the agreement that was pushed by both cities chiefs of police and announced here on KXRO. Simpson is expected to accept the agreement at this week’s Aberdeen City Council Meeting.

If signed off on, the Day Jail could begin as soon as next week.
