COUNTY TAKES FIRST STEP TOWARD FLOOD DISTRICT

The Gray Harbor County Commissioners have set a public hearing for a resolution on the county’s intention of creating a flood control district for areas of the county located within the Chehalis River Basin watershed. The hearing will be held on Monday February 14th at 2Pm in Montesano. The creation the flood control district would be the first step in the creation of a tri-county Flood Control District with Lewis and Thurston County.
