COSMOPOLIS MAYOR TO RUN FOR THIRD TERM

After leading her city out of one of it’s darkest periods, Cosmopolis Mayor Vickie Raines says she still has work to do and will run for a third full term as mayor. Raines says in spite of the reopening of the pulp mill and work on the downtown corridor project, she still has projects she wants to see through to completion including the city’s involvement with the Chehalis Basin Flood District and the repairs and reopening of Mill Creek Park. Raines has served as mayor of Cosmopolis for the last nine years and three years prior to that on the city council.
