Commissioners postpone Gateway Center funding

The Grays Harbor County Commissioners postponed their decision on providing funding for the Gateway Enterprise and Visitor Center.

The commissioners had an item on their agenda on Monday that would have provided $165,000 of .09 Economic Development funds to the project but decided to postpone their decision until some questions could be answered.

Commissioner Vickie Raines says they are planning to meet with the City of Aberdeen this week to discuss the project.

A notice was sent out by the county saying that the special meeting to discuss the project will be at 3:00pm Wednesday afternoon in the commissioners’ conference room.
