Commissioners approve LTAC project funding

The Grays Harbor County Commissioners approved the funding recommendations of the Grays Harbor Lodging Tax Advisory Committee.

LTAC presented the board with $84,090 worth of funding of the $100,000 they had to work with.

While the commissioners approved the funding they did not have the option to amend the proposal.

At last week’s meeting Commissioner Vickie Raines was going to ask for an amendment to use the remaining funds but it was shown that under state law the commissioners only had the power to approve or deny the recommendations.
